Cincinnati/NKY Area

Featured Replies

Those who live in the Cincinnati/NKY area could see some light snow from Thursday evening into the day on Friday. Accumulations look to be light before it turns into all rain Friday. I will post more information later today.

This is from 1 pm EST Thursday to 7 pm Friday evening.

All three models are in good agreement as of this evening about the possible snow Thursday into Friday. Look like the snow will be mainly north of I-64. It may travel a little south of I-64 in parts of EKY. I will post my first call for snow in the morning.

The models are in good agreement about the possible snow accumulations. They differ somewhat on how big the snowfield will be. In essence, they all keep the snow from around I-64 northward. General amounts look to be 1-3". The GFS-FV3 has the snow band a little narrower than the other models and is a little heavier with the snow accumulations.

Here are all three models together.

I will update later today.

I'm going to stay with the 1-3" of possible accumulations from late Thursday into the day on Friday. All of the models to a varying degree are showing the same in accumulation totals. I will update once again in the morning.

Thank you, hoping the drive to cvg Friday morning is decent.
