In 2A who is the regional champ from region 2? Corbin and larue were the only remaining teams and both were beat last night.........

 

Russell is claiming to be 3rd region champs although Mercer Co. is also a region 3 team and are still playing.

 

How do you, or, do you crown a region champ in 2A and 4A with the so said blind draw?

The following is from the KHSAA website. It tells the regional composition from this year. There is a link at the end that talks all about it.

 

 

For the third and fourth rounds, the pairings shall be set on an alternating rotation basis. For 2006, the pairings and regional composition for the third round games shall be as follows:

Drawing districts like this causes too much confusion. Not having regional champions also takes something significant away from the process.
