Great atmosphere tonight and very nice tribute before game to Paintsville principal as he recovers from illness.

 

JC never trailed in game and led by 16 late in 3rd. Paintsville came back to tie it late in 4th, but JC pulled away. The tie in the 4th was only tie of game other than 0-0. These two teams are favorites to meet again in 57th championship back at Paintsville in a few weeks. Will be an exciting game if it happens as both are capable of winning the region along with Shelby Valley and Pikeville.
