The Dawgs put up a good fight throughout, but the Jags were just to tough.

 

Cooper had about a 13 point halftime lead, and continued to build on it the rest of the way.

 

Doesn't get any easier for the Bulldogs as they visit CovCath this Saturday night for a big 35th District seeding game.

While it wasn't a complete blow-out, there was really never a point in the game that I thought Holmes was "in" it. Poor shooting and repeated defensive breakdowns leading to easy Cooper baskets pretty much defined the night. Holmes is absolutely better than they played last night I'd say, but it just wasn't there this game. Cooper can flat out shoot the ball, or, at least they did last night.
