Spencer County has attacked the basket against South Oldham and tonight at Anderson County. I think teams are going to have to respect that going forward. Not just a three point shooting team.

An expected outcome, but impressive nonetheless due to the margin of victory.

 

Spencer continues to lay claim as one of the two favorites to come out of the 30th district - and remember, since the districts were "re-districted" in 2006, all the champions have come from either the 29th or 30th districts.

 

Spencer is sitting in that "second wave" of contenders that just need a little luck and hard work and they could just pull it off. Plenty of firepower; depth and lack of size hurt the Bears, but every night of the tourney is a single elimination game....and anything can happen.
