Harlan/Somerset (Take #2)

Featured Replies

The earlier Somerset vs Harlan thread was closed due to many rule violations. Figured I would go ahead and start another thread to see if anyone had any final thoughts on tonights game @ Somerset?

I still think the Briar Jumpers win 28-14.

Sounds like good weather no wet field this time--no excuses, I guess I'll see if my thoughts about the weather last time were correct. I'll be stuck in Atlanta tonight so I'll be depending on updates to keep up with it. I'll take the Jumpers 35-14, if Williamsburg put up 35 I think Somerset should be able to also. Dragonpappy y'all be careful on the trip over and back home--regardless of who wins. I want to assure you and some of the other Harlan fans on here that both Somerset's players and its fans have a lot of respect for the Dragons--everyone supports their team and that can lead to a little bit of "heated debate." However, I think Harlan has a very classy program and fans. I think the Jumpers will win but if the Dragons come out on top I'll root for them the rest of the way. Here's to a safe, clean, fun game. Go Jumpers!

Hey, thanks. One thing I've found is the BGP bunch by and large are a great bunch! I didn't know why the last thread closed. In any case, you are right, 2 great programs with great fans ( like us!) and a great atmosphere. Darn, my rain dance didn't work! Jumpers have the edge (all the team is on the bus, so I can say it), but on a good night with a good plan, who knows? All the best should the Jumpers prevail. That Pikeville bunch think they've got it sown up, so somebody has to teach em a lesson, hope its the Dragons, but if not, the Jumpers will have my vote. See ya there in the crowd.
