Mustang
Twice Class "A" Shot-Put State Champion Troy Cooper will sign a National Letter of Intent next week to join the University of Cincinnati Track squad next fall. 6'5", 265 lb, Cooper is a three-sport star at Bishop Brossart High School where he serves as the Keeper on the soccer team, the center for the hoops program, and is a school record-holder on the track team. Cooper played baseball as a freshman, but took up shot-putting at the urging of Mustang track coach Rob Braun. He won the Kentucky Class "A" State Championship in his first season, and followed up with another in last year's Junior season. He will be going for his third straight this coming spring. In additon, to being a top notch athlete, Troy is a first-honor student in the classroom.
