Having freshman not yet ready to play no matter how talented is still having lack of depth. I think they will struggle to score at times. If Drew has an off night they might be in trouble. Need someone else to step up, maybe Walton can be the guy.

 

What do you really expect? You have 5 guys returning who have started D1 games--4 at NKU and a grad transfer. That's not bad. Nelson, Mocaby and Akheke will all play and contribute. Will it take time for them (and Robinson) to gel together? Sure. That's college basketball these days. I doubt anyone in the conference has more starting experience and no one is as good 1 thru 8.

You are correct. I was totally forgetting him because he wasn't on the first post.

 

Make that 1 thru 9, better than anyone in the conference.

 

Also, editing my other post, that makes Djoko and Vogt 10 and 11 in the rotation and I think Vogt gets minutes.

 

Unless multiple players severely under-perform, I don't see depth as an issue.
