Monroe County (4-7) received a preseason top 10 ranking from BGP, but stumbled out of the gate and started out a dismal 1-5. They've played better in recent weeks, and are now in position to add a positive twist to their season with a win over the Bearcats. Walton-Verona (9-2) continued its run of great defense in round one's 41-8 win over Metcalfe County. They're giving up just under 8 ppg for the year.

If walton plays like they have been, I'll take the Bearcats by 3 TDs. Walton is defense is hard to move the ball against. Walton has also opened up the passing game the last couple weeks. Hope for a good one Friday night!
