Who is the Best Past Player From The 10th Region?

Mary Custard or Beth Wilkerson would probably get my vote if I had to pick just one player as the BEST! Of course the list has to include Schwegmann and Vice. They both were dynamite players!

 

Rachael Hamilton was very under-rated during her career at Augusta. She was among the first class of 5 players that was voted into the 10th Region Girls Hall of Fame inaugural class a few years ago. She had a heart of a lion and played as hard as any player I have ever seen. Moreland and Hamilton had some battles when Augusta and PC were still in the 38th together.

 

Connie Appelman was dynamite and ahead of her time. Molly Linville (now the coach at Bracken Co.) was an all-around player, wasn't much she couldn't do on the court.

 

The Whitaker girls are real players as well. Had wonderful careers at Harrison!
