Might as well start the dialogue here.

 

Point Pleasant (4-0) is the #3 team in WV's Class 2A (they only have three classes). They would be an equivalent of a 3A school in Kentucky.

 

This should be a very good test for Pikeville, especially after a long road trip to a place where Point Pleasant rarely loses at home.

 

Of PP's four wins three have been against lesser competition, but their best win was a 42-35 road win over Mingo Central to open the year.

 

The Big Blacks have an excellent Offensive team with a talented dual threat QB and a solid RB. Defensively I expect Pikeville to give them fits though.

 

If this were a neutral field I would like Pikeville by 20... on the road I will say 42-28 Panthers.

For a comparable team in Kentucky, I would say Casey County or Bell County (with a different Offensive style).

The school's athletes are formally known as the Black Knights (members of the girls' teams are called the Lady Knights), but they are better known by their nickname, the Big Blacks.
