Class 2A

Three of Class 2A's Top 5 teams will see stiff tests this week from Top 5 foes from higher classifications. Top-Ranked DeSales will travel to Lexington to take on the Lexington Catholic Knights, a team determined to put a better foot forward after losing last week. Glasgow will look for their first true signature win against 4A's second-ranked team Franklin-Simpson. Mayfield will have a team with the "#2" by their name as well when they take on 3A's second-ranked Corbin Redhounds on a very neutral field in another state. Lexington Christian Academy returns to the Top 10 by way of a convincing win on the road at Walton-Verona. The Eagles now try to keep the mojo on their side against 1A Kentucky Country Day.
