BluegrassPreps Class 1A Football Rankings (9/10) Discussion

I know its just one game, and I can't speak for where Hazard sits compared to Pikeville yet, but they came up short against a team in somerset (although good) that was losing to BW 28-0 after a quarter and a half of football. I'm not sure if Hazard is close to the top 2 as of now. Definitely excited to see how that Pikeville matchup turns out.

It’s a disappointing loss considering Hazard controlled the game. Somerset ran a kickoff and a punt return back for touchdowns.Hazard also fumbled the kickoff to start the game and only give up 3. Somerset punched one in with 42 seconds left in the game after the defense stopped Hazard on a 4th down. Somerset played a heck of a game defensively, but offensively they have some work to do. Hazard very well could of won the game but didn’t. Teams usually play better after a loss and especially at home.

Hazard and Pikeville will be a battle, but I don’t expect them to win on the road in Pikeville during the regular season. But I’ve been wrong before. My objective will be how they play at Pikeville.
