That’s a shame because the runner wasn’t going anywhere and there was a safer way to take him down. I’m not judging him as a player but the play itself was worthy of a 15 yarder.

 

Couldn’t have argued if they had thrown a flag on the play. Lifting someone up and driving them into the turf is a safety issue. Someone mentioned wrestling earlier, and for what it’s worth, that’s an illegal slam.
