What does Betsy Layne need to do to improve in 2018? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

I talked to a Betsy Layne assistant coach last week, and he said Coach McCoy will return as the head man. He also told me Betsy Layne will have several seniors this season and a strong incoming freshman class. Their defense will be their strongest component of the team. He said they will more than likely be starting a freshman at quarterback, and they say he has a lot of potential. A lot depends on how fast they learn the offense. The coach sent me video of a senior lineman that they have. His name is Jermiah Keathley. In the video he bench pressed 355 rather easily and just missed 375. He also squatted 550 at the end of a workout. The Bobcat have won 1 game each of the past two seasons. Although the Bobcats only won 1 game last season several of the games were close. Look for the Bobcats to improve in the win column this season.

I'm assuming James is related to former Prestonsburg coach John DeRossett? I know John was the head coach at Betsy Layne way back when.
