May 10, 20188 yr Not all are addicted to prescription medication. I would venture to say that most abuse prescription meds as they can get them in place of the illegal stuff when they are in between fixes. The addicts I have known did not start on prescription meds. They are harder to obtain than the stuff like heroin from the neighborhood street pharmacists.
