Final from Covington. Senior night at Holmes and the dogs came out hot, Holmes built a 17 point lead at one time, but Conner had no quit in them, led by Sophmore Hicks with 22,they made a great come back to cut it to 4 late in the fourth quarter, the young man played a nice game, Holmes shot the ball early on as well as they have all year with Race leading them with 25 points, it was truly a team effort down the stretch, Holmes is playing hard for Coach Listerman. Holmes travels to Simon Kenton to end the regular season this Thursday. Best of luck to both in the districts.

Holmes was taking 3's from NBA range...They played very well, got a little sloppy with the ball at the end of the game and let Conner get back in it. Hicks and Ginn carried Conner tonight with 22 and 21.

Conner scoring: Hicks 22, Ginn 21, Craddock 11, Scott 9, North 5, Marcum 2
