February 3, 20188 yr Some are in for different types of precipitation later tonight into Sunday morning. There looks to be a battle between the warm area that will cause the precipitation to fall as rain later today. Cold air will try to move in and turn the rain into snow/freezing rain early Sunday morning. Most of the possible snow accumulations will stay north of I-64. 1-2 inches will be possible where the cold air wins the battle. South of I-64, a dusting to .50 inch is possible. Those in EKY could be looking mainly at freezing rain accumulations. .05-.14 inch of freezing rain is possible before the precipitation moves out of KY by Sunday evening.
