Instead of a doubleheader (girls/boys varsity), this will not strictly be a girls matchup.

Oldham County (9-5) vs. North Oldham (9-7)

 

North Oldham won the very first meeting between the schools; Oldham County has won the last 16 matchups and leads the series, 16-1.

 

Last meeting: 1/13/17 Oldham County 57, North Oldham 31 at Goshen

Alexis Head had 18 points for Oldham in the win; Caitlyn Chen had 15 points for North in the losing effort. Both players return for their respective teams this year.

 

North has won five in a row and 7 of their last 8 games. Oldham has won 6 of their last 7 contests.

 

North's five game winning streak ties the longest winning streak in school history, previously set by the 2009-10 squad that had an early-season 5 game winning streak.
