Final from Buffalo Wild Wings Shootout at Pike County Central:

Knox takes early 20 point lead in first quarter, but JC fights all the way back in fourth before Knox seals the deal with late FT's.

JC Freshman Isaiah May leads all scorers in game with 27 pts (3 blocks, 3 steals, 2 rebounds, 1 assist). JC Junior Jacob Rice has 21 points, 7 assists, 3 steals, 1 rebound. JC Freshman Bryson Hackney has 12 points, 4 rebounds, 1 block, 1 steal.

Knox Central led by Markelle Turner with 24 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assist. Kevionte Turner 17 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, 1 block. Nick Martin 14 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals, 2 blocks. Jaylen Adams 10 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal.

Knox Central is very good, very deep and athletic and well coached. JC is very young and will be tough to beat in the 15th Region by seasons end (also well coached). Fun game to watch.

Knox vs Corbin , if it happens in the CFIT on Dec. 30, should be highly entertaining HS hoops.

Maybe they can have the state tournament at Corbin so they can win. Any game at Corbin is a train wreck. Last year they beat Harlan like a drum and Lexington Catholic. But at different sites it was in deed a different story. Lol

Nope again. Corbin drubbed Harlan County both at Corbin and in Harlan last year. The only game they lost to them was at Corbin(regional final).
