I've been in many pressboxes, but I'd love to be a fly on the wall in this one. I imagine there being at least a dozen people just like Wild Man Walker in there at Philly, the way this oral history describes it.

I've been in many pressboxes, but I'd love to be a fly on the wall in this one. I imagine there being at least a dozen people just like Wild Man Walker in there at Philly, the way this oral history describes it. Philly is a very competitive media market. A huge all sports FM radio station, two newspapers in the city, and another 10 regional papers that heavily cover Philly sports, plus TV. All with guys who have very big personalities. More than a few you guys you see on a national level did time in the local Philly market. There were guys I liked and guys I didn’t. And none were as annoying as Wild Man Walker ;-)
