Bluegrasscard Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 Not much reporting in regular media on this. Los Angeles has fires burning in various areas. Worst is Thomas fire in Ventura County. Mandatory evacuations. 50,000 acres. 0% containment. Link to the emergency agency page: Home

bugatti Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 Well, it has been the top story on the Today Show the past two days, but still... crazy! Not to sound insensitive, but I have become numb to these wildfires because more days than not (it seems) one is occurring.
Bluegrasscard Posted December 6, 2017 Author Posted December 6, 2017 Morning in LA area. Still very serious. Just said 'five fires of significance burning in Southern California.'. Live feed youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DiIjeXSuBQ
Bluegrasscard Posted December 6, 2017 Author Posted December 6, 2017 They are closing the 405 and I believe the 101. I used to travel to Canoga Park area regularly and went that route from LAX. Always liked to return by driving through Topanga Canyon and the along the PCH. If these fires get into Topanga Canyon - ouch. That area is always brown.
