Has anyone seen the Cats Pause top teams in the state.

Lexington Catholic, Scott County, and everyone else. I would think that is the case. The 16th Region looked reasonable with Russell the favorite followed by Rose Hill. Gray of Scott County was listed as the favorite for Miss Basketball with Queen of Rose Hill and Terry of Rose Hill mentioned as the closest likely competitors. It mentioned that the latter two were hampered by the fact that both play for the same school. That is probably true along with the historic evidence that those playing east of Winchester are usually at a disadvantage.

How many Eastern Ky teams were among the top 20?

Rose Hill is the favorite until someone else proves otherwise...How can you not pick the returning State Runner-up with 2 of the top Miss Basketball candidates on the same team??? :confused:

Because you play with five on the floor, and five or six more on the bench. Rose Hill has two great players three rather good players and a weak bench (or a least unproven), which will hurt them this season.....

 

LexCath is still the best team in the state followed by Scott County. Who ever wins the 10th Region Girls Basketball title wins the State Tournament. Not down playing any other team at all, but the two 10th Region team are still heads and shoulders above the rest, and that includes Rose Hill and Russel who both have great teams, but just not on the same level night in and night out.....

Cats Pause picked Russell over Rose Hill and the Class A coaches picked Raceland as the co-favorite with Rose Hill. I'll bet Rose Hill is quite satisfied to be rated behind Russell and even with Raceland. It puts them in good company.

It's easy to Pick LC but I don't know about Scott Co winning it all if they were to upset LC in the Region. Scott Co has R. Gray but who else do they have? Didn't they lose 2/3 to graduation?
