Will the Trinity soccer program ever live up to expectations from its fans. No matter the pre season hype, and no matter the season record, and rating, the soccer team always finds a way to disappoint. How many times in the last 20 years should they have taken home a state title,

They always fall short somewhere along the way. This year was no exception.

There are always high expectations, with a state championship as the goal. I don't believe this was the year Trinity thought they should win state. Very young team. Only 6 seniors played against in the Region game against St X. Next season has been the target year. Loads of experience coming back plus a couple of transfers and they should be the favorite in the very tough 7th region. I think 2013 was perhaps a let down, but they have really upped their program over the past 5 years. Keep in mind, over the past 5 seasons they are 7-1-1 against their rival.

In conclusion, there wasn't as much hype with this team, they lost to a higher ranked team and their record may have been the 4-5th best in their region. They came within 1 minute off taking the #1 ranked team to OT. I am not sure how you can be critical of that?

But then again,... i thought you were the one saying the ST X freshman football team was the best team they have had in years,.. Now they are 4-4 and were outscored by T 85-7. Lots to learn out there, perhaps do more research.

Angry parent thread!?!? #mykidisthebest

As to the freshman Saint x football team, I was only passing along what was being said on poplar level road. Wasn’t my view, but the view of many of their parents and fans.

What is the purpose of this thread? It is high school soccer man. Not the pros. Chill out.

A couple of transfers? Are you kidding now the soccer program is doing it!
