oldgrappler Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 Yep, as predicted on here when Osweiler was first signed he failed to make it to opening day. The Browns also cut last year's kicker Cody Parkey. They drafted Lou Groza award winner, Zane Gonzalez in the 7th round and now he will be the Browns' kicker. These two seem interchangeable to me. Both have big legs and are similarly accurate. Some other team will get a good kicker when they sign Parkey. NKY Bandit Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 Elway was a genius and everyone thought they were taking advantage of the rookie GM with Brock
oldgrappler Posted September 3, 2017 Author Posted September 3, 2017 Osweiler signed a 1-yr deal with Denver for $775,000. Browns will save that much off the $16 Mil they have to pay him this year. Woo Hoo!

oldgrappler Posted September 3, 2017 Author Posted September 3, 2017 Yep, that was a no-brainer for them.
