Powell County comes to Carter County to take on the Comets of West Carter. The Pirates are coming off a 38-0 loss at Garrard County to begin the season. West Carter had their "bye week" to open the season so this is their season opener.

 

The Comets have defeated the Pirates the past two seasons by near the same margin. 35-38 point victory. 2015 West Carter won 48-13....2016 West Carter won 45-12...Will this season be any different or will the Comets roll to another win over the Pirates?

Actually, Powell County's last win against West Carter came back in 2004...

West has a ton of speed! I think that will ne the biggest difference in the game.
