The opening kickoff was short going to the 24 where Linebacker Matthew Quiggens muffed it then scooped it up and went 76 yards for the TD. Brayden Oberhausen's kick made it 7-0 Fern Creek just 11 seconds into the new season.

Seneca managed a first down on their first drive but then were forced to punt. Fern Creek took over on their own 23 (their worst starting field possession of the night) and drove 77 yards mostly on runs by Dylan Dunbar. Dunbar scored on an 11 yard run, Oberhausen kick.

Seneca fumbled in the kickoff return and Vesean Green recovered for FC. A false start and 3rd down sack by Seneca forced the Tigers to punt for the only time Friday night.

Seneca got a 13 y run on first down, but then had 2 negative carries followed by a sack and punted. Damon Durrah caught the punt on Seneca's 34 and returned to the 4 yard line.

Anthony Teague ran it in the next play, rush failed. Fern Creek led after 1 quarter 20-0.

 

Seneca again punts, Durrah returns 18 yards to the 31, Dunbar runs for 10,10, then an 11 y TD, Oberhausen kick, 27-0. Seneca stalls again and attempts a fake punt form their own 30, one up back gets the direct snap and attempts to handoff for an inside reverse to the other up back and fumbles, Dylan Dunbar recovers on the Seneca 25. After an incomplete pass intended for Teague, Dunbar scores on a 25 y run, Oberhausen kick 34-0. Seneca punts again and Fern Creek takes over at the Seneca 39. Tigers need just me play, Isaiah Hester throws a short pass to Damon Durrah who runs over a Seneca linebacker on the 25 and bursts into the endzone, kick failed. With 4:31 left in 2nd quarter Fern Creek leads 40-0 and now a running clock. In the third quarter Seneca puts together a nice drive going 46 yards down to the Fern Creek 29. QB Jariq Howard looking deep and intercepted by Vesean Green on the 15 returning it to the FC 49. Fern Creek runs 7 straight carries by Anthony Teague the last a 15 yard TD on the first play of the 4th quarter, kick failed 46-0. Seneca punts and Fern Creek takes over on the 50.

LeSean Gray has 5 carries on the drive capped with an 8 yard TD, the kick failed as the final horn sounded. Final Fern Creek 52 Seneca 0.
