Ticketmaster Free Show Vouchers

Featured Replies

I thought we had a thread about this but couldn't find anything.

Anyway, there was a class action lawsuit regarding ticket purchases on Ticketmaster and as part of the settlement, some people received $2.25 vouchers; some received vouchers for 2 tickets to select concerts. At the time of the settlement, ALL of the concerts that were included in the voucher settlement had sold out....until now!

I was just on Ticketmaster to print some tickets for a Friday concert I'm going to and there are a ton of concerts added to the list. I just got tickets to see Govt Mule/Blackberry Smoke in Nashville, Zac Brown band in Noblesville and Hank Jr. and Skynyrd in Noblesville, IN. All were free!

So....if you received vouchers from this class action suit, get on there and see if there are any shows you want to check out!

I know I still have some left. Have to find them!

Log into your Ticketmaster account to get to them.

Some of you may recall that a couple of years ago Ticketmaster announced that a settlement had been reached in the Schlesinger v. Ticketmaster class action lawsuit, and that concert goers who had made past purchases would be granted discounted, and free vouchers that could be used up until the year 2020.

Initially hundreds of shows were available, many nowhere nearby, and of those that were, many of them here locally were Bogarts shows that were low sellers to begin with, and of very little interest to most, and limited availability that went quickly even if they did sound interesting.

As part of the Schlesinger v. Ticketmaster settlement, Ticketmaster agreed to provide:

1. To each class member, one discount code (worth $2.25 off a future purchase of primary tickets) for every purchase made on Ticketmaster.com during the class period, up to 17 discount codes per person.

2. To class members who used UPS delivery during the class period, one $5 UPS discount code for every purchase made on Ticketmaster.com that included UPS delivery, again up to 17 UPS discount codes per person.

3. To each class member, one ticket voucher (potentially redeemable for two eligible general admission tickets for select events at Live Nation owned or operated venues, subject to availability and limitations) for every purchase on Ticketmaster.com during the class period, up to 17 vouchers per person. The Settlement Agreement limits the value of vouchers that are to be redeemed in a given year. Please be aware that due to high demand and limited availability, we expect these tickets to be redeemed quickly.

In my Ticketmaster account I have numerous $2.50 discount vouchers, and a few free show vouchers, yet over the past many months anytime I've looked to see what shows were available, no shows are anywhere within the whole country. It's not that they've sold out, it's that there are just no available shows.

How am I supposed to use my free vouchers if Ticketmaster never has any shows available for me to use them?

Has anyone ever used their vouchers, and has anyone else ever noticed that for a very long time now no shows have been available for them to be used?

What gives Ticketmaster???

As far as the $2.50 discounts go, I haven't used them simply because I no longer go to big ticket shows anymore anyway considering I find tons of interesting free or low dough shows available to keep me satisfied.

Have you logged in to check out the new shows added?

I just logged in at your prompting for the first time in a couple of weeks, and the good news is that there are now shows listed, the bad news is that none of them are local. The closest shows are 8 in Indy, and 6 in Louisville, but none that I'd travel out of town for. :(
