I use paypal. Kids prefer venmo. It's also nice if the kids have their money in the same bank as you. I could transfer right into their accounts if needed. I have it set up so I can see their money, but they do not have access to mine.

I use Venmo and it's the easiest. FWIW, PayPal bought Venmo a while back.
