South Oldham Dragons - 2016 Grade

The Dragons were 9-0 in the regular season, with their only loss coming from 4A Shelby County in the final week before the playoffs. Lost in the state semifinals to 5A runner up Pulaski County. South Oldham averaged an impressive 43 points per game throughout the season, and even in both of their losses, the Dragons were within one touchdown of their opponent's final score.

 

In grading, I think points get deducted for losing to a 4A team, and then also for not making the state finals.

 

Do you agree with a A- for South Oldham? What grade do you give the Dragons?

I agree with your grade. South Oldham has made significant progress in the past 5 years. They are to be applauded for their improvements.

I give them a solid A-, but let it be known this was like getting an A- when you are a Senior in college taking a 200 level elective with a part-time professor.
