You don't stay somewhere for 50 plus years, unless it's a good "gig".

NewCath has been blessed to have numerous teachers with 30 to 50 plus years of service.

That is unbelievable.

When the original Daddy's Little Girl was a Frosh for the 2010/2011 school year there were 10 teachers, including the principal, that were there when I was a Frosh in 1980/1981.

That's awesome to have that stability in a school system.

About 6 years ago I was at breakfast and ran into Mr. Ueding and Mr. Morgan at breakfast. Both were my teachers when I was in HS (I'm older than @Lawnboy13 ). I bought them breakfast. They came over to thank me and I told them thanks for their many years of service and told them I appreciated the sacrifices they made to teach at a school which pays far less than public schools with a much worse pension. They in turn thanked me for the sacrifices I made to send my kids to a catholic school (even though my boys did not go to NC). Both class acts, great educators and great people. Best wishes to my former track and cross country coach.

Well said @TAC

Mr. Morgan was my favorite teacher, as well as DLG.........2.0 really liked him too.
