Marshall County coach Joseph Simmons resigns to take a job in Tennessee.

If the boys coach is "fired*" for winning over 70% of his games at Marshall and this coach "resigned*" after winning 75% of his games and going to the state tournament 3 out of the 7 years he coached....Good luck to the next coach(es). Something doesn't smell right on these moves.

Yep.....seems like unrealistic expectations to try to live up to.....if that is the case.

It will be interesting to see who they hire.

One rumor was always Turner from Murray but that is not happening now.

They passed over on Aaron Beth when they hired Simmons and then he went to Graves and goes and wins the regional.

 

Expectations are always high here.

A great question. His wife now works @ Graves and his kids go there as well. Not sure since they passed on him last time
