Elvis Perkins is the son of the late actor Anthony Perkins who passed away on Saturday, September 12, 1992, and 9 years later on Tuesday September 11, 2001 his mother, photographer, actress, and model Berry Berenson died in one of planes that crashed into the World Trade Center.

After facing the nightmare of losing his mother on that Tuesday morning, Wednesday the 12th was the 9th anniversary of his father passing.
