Meade County, in their last 24 games, has amassed a 4-20 (!!) record in reaching the 3rd Region final. They went on a 13 game losing streak spanning from December 21 to February 4. After ending that streak, they proceeded to lose 5 of their next 6 heading into the region tourney, where they have upset Edmonson County and Owensboro Catholic. Talk about peaking at the right time....

 

One of their wins was in the district semis over Breckinridge County 61-56 to advance to the Region tourney. The other win??

 

60-58 over Daviess County.

 

Man I like underdogs. I'm going with the Green Wave to pull off another shocker....

Daviess was a #4 seed in their district.

Once again, Meade's record is very deceiving. They are 12-2 with James Baker in the lineup and he will be on the floor for the final. DC is playing their best basketball of the season. They have 3-4 guys that can lead them on any given night. Baker has the ability to take over vs anyone but im going to go with DC, as I think they are the better team.
