Rockcastle County/Mercer County Updates (12th Region Quarterfinals)

My bad. I forgot I was going to do updates. :lol2:

It is 38-28 Mercer County at the half.

Rockcastle got off to a good start and was in control of the game until Treyvon Faulkner went to the bench with 2 fouls with 6:00 left in the half. It was then that Garrett Dean and Kaelin Drakeford provided some offense for Mercer County and the Titans used their scrappy, hard nosed pressure to force a lot of Rockcastle turnovers which has allowed Mercer County to take over the tempo and pace of the game all with Faulkner on the bench. Rockcastle can't keep up this pace with Mercer County and as long as the refs continue to let them play then Mercer should win this game. I had a feeling Rockcastle would win this game but I don't think they will be able to pull it out playing like this.

49-38 Mercer with 2:12 left in the 3rd quarter.

Lucas Gentry definitely isn't the player he was last year. You can tell his body isn't where it should be yet.

Nice little run by Rock to close the quarter.

53-48 Mercer County after 3 quarters.

Treyvon Faulkner picks up his 4th foul.

57-51 Mercer with 6:04 left.

Neither team is doing well from the free throw line this half.

10th team foul on Mercer. Rock to the line for 2.

I think combined both teams have missed their last 7 free throws.
