"Bitter Blood"...if you don't know this story, you should

Featured Replies

I will post a link to this story at the bottom. This event is both super gruesome yet super interesting. It's a horrific story of what can happen when 2 unstable people come together and feed off one another. Most of the story takes place near where I grew up, and the climatic terrible ending actually took place less than a half mile from my mom's house where she lives now. Part of the story occurs here in KY in the Louisville area and some of you who are a little older might remember the event.

"Bitter Blood" is the title of the book written by a local Greensboro, NC journalists who covered the story. If you can find it somewhere I'd highly recommend it.

That's messed-up.

It was a HUGE news story back in the day in my area. They made a cheesy "made for tv" movie about it, but I really think there is a lot there that could make a really intriguing motion picture, without the need to add anything for "dramatic effect"...its all there already. Very, very sad story, but it's greatly interesting, and the book is a page turner.
