Have seen them play Gallatin, Anderson, Eminence. Your point is not valid because Walton plays a bunch of very good 9th region teams due to location. Walton is in Boone County so only makes sense their schedule is located around Northern Kentucky...

And not to mention Walton is a small all A school and schedules are set years in advance with home and home series. I would be willing to bet they will begin to venture towards Louisville next year.

You are correct--you play the schedule in front of you, but they have not played the top teams in the region before tonight. I can't help that, but it is a problem for them as they found out. The teams you mentioned are good teams (Spencer swept all of them), but not the top.

No they have not beaten any of the top three teams, but they have faired better than anyone else against them. I don't think Spencer County is a top 3 team in the region. In my opinion they are around 4 or 5. If Spencer gets any of their bigs in foul trouble (Coke, Cannon) they are in serious trouble and could lose to anyone as they found out Friday night. When going through the tournament luck plays a part.

Walton vs Spencer would be a good game. Clinker beard and Miles would give Spencer trouble. Both are well coached. I would take WV. Both have young talent and will keep getting better.
