Owsley County's 6' junior Macie Gibson recently scored her 2000th point in a game vs Estill County. With one more year to play she is on pace to break the Lady Owls scoring record set by Austin McIntosh in 2005. I believe Austin had around 2700+ points.

Other than Gibson, Owsley has a very young team this year, starting 3 eighth graders and a sophomore along with Gibson. Their record is 12-12.

Gibson is averaging 29 ppg and 15 rebounds so far this year.
