1.Hopkinsville (18-4):

Hopkinsville has yet to be beaten in 2017, standing at 9-0 in the new year and not to mention they are on a 11 game win streak. They keep this up and they’ll be at Rupp come March.

 

2.Christian County (16-5):

The Colonels have hit a rocky spot as of late, after starting the season off rolling and rolling into the new year, the Colonels find themselves 5-4 in the month of January.

 

3.University Heights (11-11):

UHA split both games last week, defeating Fort Knox in the All A State Tournament but falling to Newport central catholic in the same tournament.

 

4.Henderson County (16-7):

The Colonels have been playing some good basketball as of late, but we’ll see just how good they are on Friday when they host #2 Christian County.

 

5.Hopkins County Central (13-8):

The Storm has been rolling through teams after losing 6 straight, the Storm has won 8 of their last 10 games including a 2 game win streak.

I hope Henderson has a full deck Friday night. After Webster win took a bad loss at Ohio county the next night but played without two starters ware and Mitchell both who took injuries in webster game.

It is all about the 8th district. This is one region where they need to try letting every team in the region and play it out. This is a great idea the state has allowed and needs to be in place in the second region.
