Holmes goes to 2 and 0 with a home win against Boone County.

Closer than expected! Boone must have played well! Any details?

I actually only saw the beginning and ran to a boys game, was getting up dates from Holmes, I know they had an early lead and Boone chipped away and I think it was a nine point lead mid 4 th and Holmes opened it up.

It was overall a good game, but Holmes was never in jeopardy of losing control or the game. The score doesn't really indicate how the game went but Boone had a couple of charges in the 2nd half. I see Boone challenging teams but just won't have enough to get them over the hump. If this is to happen, they will need better guard play to free up Beal, Kylie A. and there is another young lady that I don't know her name (but the offense comes from these three).

The third is likely Tessa Gieske. Boone is a sleeper team. Every team in the ninth should be ready for them
