Boyle County/Danville Updates

At the half, Danville leads Boyle 14-7.

 

Caught the Halftime recap at the end and basically it sounded like Boyle had the chance to tie it in the 2nd Quarter after a 60 yard pass went to the 2 but the Rebels fumbled and lost it the next play. Sounds like a good one.

Boyles yardage at half is 191 yards.

 

Danville has posted 121 yards at the half.

 

Rebels had both punts blocked in the first half which lead to both Admiral scores.

Boyle intercepts Admiral pass to start 2nd half at the Boyle 24.

 

Ads tried a HB pass that was intercepted.

Grant Tamme catches a long ball for Boyle and the Rebels have a first down at the Danville 19 with 8:13 in the 3rd.

Rebels go for it on 4th down from the 10 and make it by inches at the 9.

Boyle comes up short inside the 10. A Rebel FG attempt from 25 yards was good but there was a flag on the play.

 

The flag was a Personal Foul for roughing and the Rebels got first down inside the 5. Boyle took the points off the board.

Touchdown Crutchfield with a 5 yard run on the first play after the Roughing call. The EP was good to tie it at 14-14.

Big break for Boyle as they recover their own fumble on the KO. They will start their possession at the 23.

Tamme hauls in a pass for Boyle down to the 13 of Danville. He beat double coverage and was run down.

Boyle's drive ends with a TD on a reverse by Josh Miller who scores from about the 10.

 

Rebels EP is Good to tie it up at 21-21.

Ads return KO and with a 5 yard penalty set up shop at the Danville 47.

Admirals run a screen play for a Touchdown but a flag nullifies a great run where the Ads Back broke 4 tackles but a downfield block in the back puts the ball on the Rebel 25 first and ten.

Ross takes it in from 25 yards out for the Admirals on the next play and puts Danville back on top.
