Christian County's Offense was rolling this game! I don't think they punted until the 4th qtr when the subs were in. I know it's Apollo "no offense Apollo fans" but I'd like to see that Red Devil game played again without the down poor.

Bigtiger55 I agree. 37-0 at half and I think the Colonels had two TDs called back in 1st quarter. Colonel Defense was impressive too. Apollo could not get anything going. Colonel special teams seem to need some work.

The colonels returned a punt and a kickoff back for TDs. Had one called back or it would have been 3 special team scores. If you kick the ball to Keyron Catlett you are asking for trouble. Any stats for this game?

I'd like to see that game played again without the 4tds from OHS called back due to penalties or bad calls lol.

 

In all seriousness, CC is extremely talented and Catlett is as good of a playmaker as you'll find anywhere. I know he played youth football up here in Owensboro, and boy, I wished they'd have stayed. CC is a very good team with a ton of speed. Playing the Colonels in the playoffs isn't going to be fun for anyone.

 

Apollo meanwhile had a rough game. Previously, the Eagles have put up a good fight against everyone, even South Warren. I think the toll of the season is wearing on Apollo, especially since the Eagles lack depth.
