Fair score line?

I'd say a fair result. CCH will be looking back on the first half and wondering what could have been. Several very good chances and none were converted. Summit plays 3 in the back and Griffin Lamb was getting outside and by the Summit defense with regularity in the first 20 minutes in particular. They had nobody to handle him 1v1 in my opinion. Possession was pretty even early but as the half went on Summit got more possession. Still, CCH was able to counter very well on Summit.

I agree with groin pull's, summary and assessment of the game, "fair result".

This was the sort of game a ton of teams would have folded up and lost 6, 7 or more to 0. Having out played the huge favorite, Summit, the #1 in Cincinnati for the first 35 minutes, and no question CCH should have been up at least 1-0, to give up a goal 5 minutes before the half was very tough. Then go down 3-0 and suffer two injuries to starters and somehow find a way to get back in the game is remarkable and says a lot about this CCH team. CCH was pressing all the way to the end, Summit must have walked out of there thinking we got away with one tonight. Just like in the past 6 games, every player for CCH stepped up and played great. #7 and #12 for Summit were a handful last night.

This CCH teams plays for each other, has great senior leadership, and is a well put together team. All season long many have doubted them, predicting big losses to the Trinitys, Andersons, Madison Centrals, the Summits. I sense the players have never doubted themselves or each other.

Congratulations to Summit on the win, well deserved.

Nice effort CCH. One of those rare cases where you can feel good the next morning after a loss. CCH showing a lot of character these past few weeks, sounds like last night was full of character and courage!

I would agree with most of what was said except that CCH out played Summit. I would say it was pretty even. Both teams had their moments. Summit did create more scoring opportunities than CCH, but couldn't convert.

 

CCH had 15 people on the field, 11 players, 3 refs, and the time keeper. It was shocking to see how blatant the ref was in helping CCH. The center ref doesn't call a clear foul on Summit's striker that should have been a penalty. And then towards the end of the game, the refs were calling bogus fouls near Summit's box.

 

On top of that, the time keeper, stopped the clock when it they felt like it. They stopped the clock after CCH's 2nd goal and didn't start it again until after the whistle blew and then when a CCH player went down with cramps, the clock stopped before the ref gave the sign. Truly amazing

 

This doesn't take away the fantastic effort the CCH boys gave last night. They were well organized and showed a lot of heart.

Not only did we have those 15 people but we had a small but vocal Colonel Crazy contingent that clearly rattled a few of your players. If you're going to play D1 you really need to learn to deal with those types of distractions more maturely. I thought that center mid of Summit was going to have a meltdown.

I knew Summit was good, but WOW they won even though CCH had 15 people on the field. The time keeper running around on the field is one I will have to watch for, have never seen that happen before.
