Basketball season for 2016/2017 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Lyon County? Remember, please be constructive.

Lyon County lost 2 really good players in Somers and PPoole but still return Allison Murphy and Terrianna Johnson from last year's 5th district champions. I still expect the Lady Lyons to compete for the district championship but they might not be as big of a threat in the region as they have been the past few seasons.

With what is coming back I believe they have a tough year. All great kids but no inside threat. Murphy is gonna be really good and Johnson is a good defensive stopper. I believe Johnson is gonna have to be more aggressive this year offensively. Some one is gonna have to step up and give some support to these two.

Henderson will be going down to Lyon county late in the year.
