trinitron12
Appears Bullitt East is starting to gather some steam after early season defensive struggle. The offense is putting up some major points avg 46 a game. They play at Bullitt Central this week who is coming off a cross town loss to North Bullitt. BC has been fairly strong in the defensive department only giving up 11 points a game. On paper this should be a battle of each teams strengths. Im taking BE to win this one as they are clicking on all channels right now. What does the forum think who wins and why?

Im taking BE to win this one as they are clicking on all channels right now. What does the forum think who wins and why? As Jim Schue said before, do NOT read into the Nelson County result. MARION COUNTY: - Scored 54 against Nelson. Hasn't scored more than 20 in ANY other game. - Allowed 21 to Nelson. Has allowed AT LEAST 32 to every other team. SPENCER COUNTY: - Matched season high for points scored against Nelson. - Matched season low for points allowed against Nelson. THOMAS NELSON: - Matched season high for points scored against Nelson. - Set season low for points allowed against Nelson. BARDSTOWN: - Set season high for points scored against Nelson. - Set season low for points allowed against Nelson. WOODFORD COUNTY: - Second-highest scoring game of season came against Nelson (and that was just in one half). - Set season low for points allowed against Nelson (granted just one half, but allowed at least 14 to everyone else). BULLITT EAST: - Set season high (by two touchdowns) for points scored against Nelson. - Set season low for points allowed (by 31) against Nelson. Does not mean -- at all -- that Bullitt East has turned the corner. What it does mean -- no more, no less -- that a team played one of the worst Nelson County teams of all time. FortWayne
What it means is the BE offense did what it does to everyone. Do you really think anyone is going to stop them before BG? Bowling Green can, and would stop them, but no one else will. Sure as hell no other Team in that county. It appears that Mark Sander, who coached at college level and played at the NFL level, has them understanding what he wants.
