This one came easy for the Mustangs who ran and passed through the Trimble County defense putting up a 31-0 first half lead as Chase Keller the Brossart quarterback connecting on 9 of 13 attempts for three touchdowns. He added another in the second half for four on the night.

 

The Mustangs defense was equally effective, limiting the 2-A Raiders to only four first downs in the first half. The Raiders scored 8 points late in the game on the Mustang twos.

 

Brossart improves to 3-1 on the season and will take on Nicholas County in a KEY district seeding battle following the bye week in Carlisle on September 23rd.
