If you like high scoring games, you probably need to pay attention to this one. These two teams feature some standout offensive talent. Butler County QB Rex Henderson is one of the best in the state. Russellville features multiple weapons including QB Jaylyn McMurry and RB's Drew West, Johnny Drumgole and MJ Jones. Last year Russellville outscored the Bears 52-42. Can the Bears turn the tables this year?

I do not know much about Butler County. Rville on the other had has a ton of speed and athleticism on both sides of the ball. I say Rville by 20, with that said if Butler Co can stop the "Big Plays" and force the Panthers to get out of there game plan it could be a great game. Wish i lived close so i could attend. Class A has some solid games this week.

It will be a tight game. However, Russellville is going to make Henderson work for his stats. The difference will be in the speed and athleticism that the Panthers have in abundance.

The question mark is Russellville's pass defense. I didn't see it during the preseason but have heard it is suspect, even with the abundance of speed and athleticism they possess. Scoring shouldn't be an issue for the offense.

 

QB Henderson has been the first name mentioned when discussing Butler County the past few years, and deservedly so. Thought it was interesting looking at last weeks game against Edmonson County. They won 35-28 with 200+ rushing yards and only 96 passing yards. I'm sure they were pleased to eke out the victory relying on the ground game.

 

Looking forward to this one. Hope we don't get disappointed.
