final

The final score does not indicate how close this game was. The varsity game only lasted 3 Qtrs. The score was 10-7 Russell at halftime. 14-10 wheelersburg late in 3rd when Russell began substituting and gave up a late score to make a 21-10 final. Each teams JV played the 4th which was prearranged. Wheelersburg's JV destroyed Russell's in 4th to make the final margin look so big. Russell is much better than people think, Wheelersburg is the best team in southeast Ohio.

I agree that Russell is better than people think. We just can't afford injuries this year as Coach Maynard said in the preview only having 60 out.
