August 2, 201610 yr I came across this article from February that has an interesting perspective on the Trump phenomena. This was written by Republican Robert Kagan. His main point is Trump seized on the anger and oppositionalism that Republicans have practiced for the past 7 years and took it the next level. He believes the Republican party groomed its members for the key issues Trump has utilized and leveraged into his success. Therefore, Republicans have no one to blame but themselves for Trump. Please read the article and comment. Trump is the GOP’s Frankenstein monster. Now he’s strong enough to destroy the party. - The Washington Post
