I heard Nico Ross moved and will be at Ryle rather than Cooper this fall. Nice pick up for Ryle and Cooper loses a key attacking player who would have helped Snow with options and some combination play.

I was going to say, that must have been a tiring move driving that rented Ryder truck all the way over to the other side of Union, but then I read this...

Nico did transfer to St. Henry. I believe they are waiting on paperwork to come in for him to be eligible this season.

Either way, I know it is none of my business. :speechless:

Tryouts concluded, team rosters announced? Seems early, I remember CCH tryouts always lasting 2 weeks. If true I would agree, " both sophs will see significant playing time." IMO makes little sense to put any sophomore on ANY varsity sports team to then sit them on the end of the bench. Playing sophomores that can hold their own and contribute quality minutes on the varsity team helps a program stay strong year after year.

When mine was a sophomore, if I remember correctly, he usually played a half in the JV game then played about a half in the varsity game. It was a great set up for him. He learned a lot and gained valuable experience. His most memorable moments came from playing in Lexington, defending against the front line attack of a couple of excellent teams. Gave him a lot of confidence going into his Junior season.
